General information on the processing of personal data

Controller is an enterprise, which offers machines, equipment and services in the graphics industry. Our business partners are enterprises, which purchase or supply goods and services for the purpose of performing their business activity. Personal data that we process are contact details of individuals, who are representatives of the buyer or employed by the buyer and responsible for purchasing (procurement). We also process personal data of individuals, representatives or employers of our suppliers. By informing about current offers, by maintaining website and by responding to inquiries, we are trying to ensure timely and complete information for existing or potential customers/suppliers, necessary for making their informed business decisions. By processing customer’s or supplier’s contact data, we are trying to ensure timely and complete fulfillment of contractual obligations. The following information will provide you with a transparent, clear and comprehensible owerview of how we are ensuring the security and confidentiality of your personal data and their legal and fair processing.

Rights of the individual with regard to the protection of personal data

An individual can revoke the consent to processing personal data for the purpose of direct marketing at any time. This can be done easily, by clicking unsubscribe button in every e-mail, or by e-mail to info@impresstec.com. An e-mail with a request for access, correction, processing restriction, or deletion of data may also be send to the company's e-mail address at any time. An individual has the right to appeal to the supervisory authority against the rejection of an individual's request.

Recipients of the personal data and existence of automated decision-making, including profiling

Controller does not provide or sell personal data to third parties. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

Processing of data for the purpose of direct marketing (Email list)

Categories of individuals and personal data: 

In the Email list database we process data of contact or responsible person of our business buyer: e-mail address, first name and last name, telephone number and the name of enterprise, which they represent. Other data are data of enterprise, which, according to paragraph 14 of the introductory provisions of General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR, do not fall within the scope of personal data. 

Purposes of the processing and legal basis: 

The purposes of the processing is informing contact persons of business customers about our offers, references, news. Legal basis for processing are data subject's consent and legitimate interests of direct marketing (Paragraph 47 of the introductory provisions GDPR). 

Sources of personal data: 

We collect data from consents to processing personal data, usage of contact form on our website, previous business communication or cooperation and from publicly available information about contact persons of potential customers (website of potential customers, meetings, advertisements, presentations and technology views). 

Period for which the personal data will be stored: 

Until the revocation of consent or unsubscribing from our Email list.

Newsletter with SendBlaster

Our website www.impresstec.com also uses the services of Sendblaster to send out its newsletters (e-news). The provider is the Delivery Tech Corp., 4411 Morena Blvd 105, San Diego, CA 92117 with European representative company eDisplay srl, via Palmanova, 24, 20132 Milano – Italy. 

Sendblaster is a service that can be deployed to organise and analyse the sending of newsletters. Whenever you enter data for the purpose of subscribing to a newsletter (e.g. your e-mail address), the information can be stored in our Sendblaster system. With the assistance of the Sendblaster tool, we can analyse the performance of our newsletter campaigns. If you open an e-mail that has been sent through the Sendblaster tool, a file that has been integrated into the e-mail (a so-called web-beacon) connects to Sendblaster servers. As a result, it can be determined whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links the recipient possibly clicked on. Technical information is also recorded at that time (e.g. the time of access, the IP address, type of browser and operating system). This information cannot be allocated to the respective newsletter recipient. Their sole purpose is the performance of statistical analyses of newsletter campaigns. The results of such analyses can be used to tailor future newsletters to the interests of their recipients more effectively. 

If you do not want to permit an analysis by Sendblaster you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a link for you to do this in every newsletter message. Moreover, you can also unsubscribe from the newsletter right on the website. The data you archive with us for the purpose of the newsletter subscription shall be archived by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Once you cancel your subscription to the newsletter, the data shall be deleted from our servers as well as those of SendBlaster. This shall not affect data we have been archiving for other purposes and also shall be without prejudice to the lawfulness of any data processing transactions that have taken place prior to your revocation.

Processing of data for the purpose of commercial communication prior to entering into a contract, negotiation, conclusion or performance of contract 

Categories of individuals and personal data: 

We process personal data of contact or responsible persons of potential, past or existing business partners (buyers or suppliers), such as e-mail, first name, last name, job title, telephone number, name of enterprise, which they represent. Other data are data of the business customers or suppliers, which, according to paragraph 14 of the introductory provisions of the GDPR, do not fall within the scope of personal data. 

Purposes of the processing and legal basis:  

The purposes of processing is communication prior to entering into a contract, negotiations, performance of a contract. Legal basis of processing is performance of a contract and communication on the request prior to entering into a contract and legitimate interests of direct marketing of additional or similar products (Paragraph 47 of the introductory provisions GDPR). 

Sources of personal data: 

We collect data from individuals, from business communication in connection with the conclusion or performance of contracts and from public sources (web, business registers, meetings, advertisements, presentations and technology introductions). 

Period for which the personal data will be stored:

We store data until the expiration of the deadline for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, expiration of retention period based on tax regulations and after that period until revocation of consent or request for abandonment of processing of personal data, or until unsubscribing from our Email list.

Processing of data to provide evidence of legal bases for data processing, ensure safety, improving the usability of website and statistics

Categories of individuals and personal data, sources of personal data: 

We process data of website users, contact form users and newsletter signup form users. The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in “server log files”. These are browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, Time of the server request, IP address. When visiting our web site, our website sends the necessary technical cookies to ensure the proper functioning of the site, and with the user's permission, analytical cookies of the Google Analytics system (website visits analysis). Purpose of processing data and legal basis is pursuing legitimate interests in providing evidence of legal bases for data processing, ensuring safety of website, improving the usability of website and statistics. 

Period for which the personal data will be stored

Voluntary use of You tube, Facebook, Twitter, Skype services

On the basis of the legitimate interests in presenting our online content in an appealing manner and in promot-ing our business, we also allow social media plug-ins in our online service. So you can, for example, watch more detailed and user friendly presentation of each machine (clip on You Tube). You can also visit our social media pages, and send an inquiry or simply use the “Share” button. These social media services are subject to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy of the social media service provider. Here you can find terms of service such as  Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Skype.

Final provisions

The terms and conditions of the protection of personal data from the Privacy Policy in question are published on the controller's website at the bottom of pages, in the contact form and on the newsletter signup form, as well as in direct marketing emails. The controller reserves the right to change them at any time. Changes will be published in the same way as the current Privacy policy. This Privacy policy shall enter into force and shall apply from 25.5.2018.
